Alegri:We have not won anything yet

2.08.2019
Juventus coach Massimiliano Allegri was pleased with Roma`s 1-0 success. This victory guarantees the Bianconeri that they will be the winter champions in Serie A. However, this does not matter much to the mentor, who said his team has not yet won anything and there is still a lot of work to be done.
We are already a winter champion, but we haven`t really won anything yet. Things are going well, we have qualified for the 1/8 final in the Champions League and it is nice that we have a serious buffer from Napoli at the top of the standings. Today was a good match and we remained organized under pressure. Robin Olsen made some brilliant saves, but we played well. From the first minute we had to push Roma and put them under pressure. We had to do more after the 1-0 lead, as the opponent was in serious trouble. Roma held the ball more in the second half, but we didn`t give them any chances. I`d say it`s a well-deserved victory, Allegri thinks.
The mentor compliments the hero of the match, Mario Mandzukic, who scored the only goal for his team.
He is an important player for us because he combines physics and technique. Manjukic is an extraordinary football player. Cristiano Ronaldo also had a few positions today, but he was a fantastic goalkeeper. Maybe I`ll give him a break in the next game, the specialist added.
