Cristiano Ronaldo has spoken out about his future at Manchester United.
Now it’s hard to say, I’m focused on the 2022 World Cup. This may be my last tournament. My fifth world championship.
I don`t know what will happen after him, but the fans will always remain in my heart. And I hope they will be by my side, whether I come back or not.
Nobody is perfect. In the life of every person there are certain episodes, but this is peculiar to people. I will always make mistakes, I am human too.
But now it`s hard for me to answer. I am focused on the 2022 World Cup.
When I moved to Manchester United, I wanted to help the team, to do something good, to help them fight against the best clubs. But it`s hard when your wings are clipped, when people don`t want you to shine, don`t want to listen to your advice. I think I have something to suggest, I could help.
My motivation has changed in a few months. I don`t want to say that I need a new challenge. But perhaps both me and Manchester would benefit from a new chapter.
But if I come back, I hope that I will be allowed to shine - the way I have done in other teams all these years, - said Ronaldo in an interview with Piers Morgan on TalkTV.
