Ronaldo could go on loan to Newcastle if the club reaches the Champions League. The option is specified in the forward’s contract with Al-Nasr (Marca)

Cristiano Ronaldo has the opportunity to move from Al-Nasr to a Champions League club.
At the end of December, the 37-year-old striker signed a contract with Al-Nasr from Saudi Arabia. The agreement runs until 2025.
According to Marca, there is a clause in that contract that could see the Portuguese move to Newcastle on loan if the Magpies qualify for the Champions League at the end of this season. The English club is owned by the Saudi Arabian Public Investment Fund.
Ronaldo holds the record for the most goals scored in the Champions League - 140. His closest pursuer, Lionel Messi, scored 129 goals.
